Vovoid's beloved Music Visualization artists continuously bring you some of the coolest
mindtrips you will ever see!
What is a "music visual" or "visual"?
It's a program that captures audio and displays flashy graphics to the music.
You can see the music.
Vovoid's visuals are free for personal use.
What is Vovoid VSX?
VSX is a standalone program that analyzes audio and displays visuals. It uses openGL to do this. In order for you to enjoy our visuals you need
a computer with a fairly fast openGL card. Geforce 3 or better is recommended.
You can get more visuals and extend your VSX experience. See the VSX plugin category!
On what platforms are VSX available?
At the moment only Microsoft Windows but since the code is fairly platform independant we have
plans to port it to linux/bsd as well. If you want to run it now on linux it works fine with
WINE.
Has Vovoid been doing visuals for a long time?
We started out when Sonique came out in 1998-1999. We've been doing several visuals over time
and in total we have something around 2 million downloads on CoR's and our visuals together.
Today CoR is part of Vovoid and thus we're cooperating on creating cool visuals.
What is Sonique?
A year ago or so it was the most comprehensive alternative to Winamp. Now as winamp is decaying and
Sonique development is standing still we decided to do visuals our own way instead.
